VUE Audiotechnik | High-output, low-distortion loudspeaker systems
The VUE al-8 absolutely surpassed my expectations. It had all the warmth of a much larger line array and was extremely consistent.
I felt instantly comfortable with the VUE system [al-8]. It was beautiful, really smooth and totally responsive. I could literally feel it in my body it was so clear. I loved it.
The al-4’s compact size and ability to scale up and down, or drop in and out of a road case in pre-assembled stacks, makes it extremely easy to work with. It’s really the perfect balance of line array performance and single-box simplicity.
Michael Adams and VUE have outdone themselves with the al-12 system and the new 21-inch hs-221 sub. The system has all of the features that any touring engineer would expect. The fly hardware and dolly carts are self explanatory and easy to deploy, which is integral for a touring system. The audio quality is easily in the top systems.
The amount of clear headroom that comes out of the al-4 totally took me by surprise. Don’t let the small size fool you. If you want a crystal clear rig with a small footprint, look no further.
The al-4 not only delivered exceptional coverage and sound quality, but it did so with almost no tweaking. …I’ve never experienced a line array as predictable and consistent as the al-4.
The al-12’s pack a punch! There’s plenty of power out of the box, which basically lead to a lot of headroom on my master fader
The VUE i-8s are absolutely amazing! They blow my existing near fields right out of the water.
The most salient single aspect of the [VUE] demo was the consistency of voicing across the entire product line. Even the smallest cabinets impressed with their forward voicing, punch and clarity.
It’s clear the VUE designers have experience working the real world. The al-4’s coverage is so well defined and it’s incredibly easy to scale up or down as needed.
After a 2019 upgrade to their lighting system, the Warner Grand had a 96 channel DiGiCo console installed and Bell Event Services spec’d out a new VUE Audiotechnik al-8 line-array system with as-418 subs and hm-112 stage monitors. The installation was completed in July 2020. VUE’s Paul Bauman was on-site to fine-tune the system and work with the Warner Grand’s front-of-house engineer and master electrician Victor Prudeaux.
Hip-Hop megastar Lizzo, will be hitting the road on an arena tour this fall. But this spring, she played the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View California for Google’s Return To Office Concert. Sound Image was provided a rider that spec’d a VUE al-system and deployed Winston Damme as FOH tech and Mike Brown as System tech from Sound Image’s San Francisco branch.

Recently, legendary musicians Daryl Hall and Todd Rundgren performed at the Golden Gate Theatre. Sound Image Productions were tasked with providing a full system for both bands. Rundgren is no stranger to VUE. Todd toured with al-8 arrays in 2018 and obtained VUE hm-112 and hm-212 monitors with VUEdrive amps for his 2019 tour. For the Golden Gate Theatre, Sound Image provided 18 al-12 acoustic linearity line array elements – arrays of 9 al-12s flown each side of the stage. The orchestra pit held 8 hs-221 subs.
