VUE will be part of the Live Sound International (LSI) Loudspeaker Demo—a.k.a., “The Ultimate Audio Experience” – at the upcoming USITT 2015 Annual Conference & Stage Expo in Cincinnati, March 18-21, at the Duke Energy Convention Center.

The popular LSI Demo has been presented to thousands of attendees at recent WFX (Worship Facilities) Expos in Dallas and Atlanta, and this opportunity to directly listen to, evaluate, and compare top compact loudspeaker systems is now being offered to design, production, and technology professionals in the performing arts and entertainment industry that comprise the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) membership, as well as audio professionals interested in attending (more on that below).

al-8-al4-combo-background-ko-IMG_2152Specifically at USITT, each full demo session will offer two parts: first, a focus on smaller systems, followed by a focus larger systems. In each part, all participating systems are played in a round-robin, random format, supplied with identical audio tracks, chosen from submissions by all manufacturers, until the final round, when manufacturers have the opportunity to play their own select track through their systems. Listeners move from system to system, evaluating what they’re hearing and also observing each system’s scale, components and other important details.

There will be seven (7) demo sessions in total presented—four on Thursday, March 19 and three on Friday, March 20—held in the expansive Grand Ballroom at the Duke Energy Convention Center. VUE also do a dedicated 15-minute exclusive demo session on both days for all attendees – the specific schedule to be released in advance of the event.
A special cocktail reception DEMO is scheduled for March 18th at 7:30pm.

Technology sponsors include our friends at Rational Acoustics (who make Smaart and 10EaZy).

Demo sessions are open to all attendees of USITT as well as other groups and individuals interested in audio and loudspeaker systems.
