It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we learned of the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Mike Adams.
We will all miss him more than words can express and will cherish the memory of Mike’s kindness and empathy.

Mike was an immensely talented engineer whose deep grasp of acoustical science was balanced with a practical, real-world approach honed from nearly four decades as a FOH/Monitor engineer (Jimmy Buffett, Jackson Browne, Emmylou Harris) and as system designer for one of America’s top touring and installation sound companies.
In 1973 he joined Silverfish Audio, which later became Sound Image. Mike was also co-founder of Audio Composite Engineering (ACE) and founding partner in 2012 of Vue Audiotechnik.
Throughout his 50 years in the professional audio industry Mike played a key role in the development of some of the most successful loudspeaker systems in use today, including VUE Audiotechnik’s Acoustic Linearity Al-Series Line Arrays., the JBL Vertec series, and QSC’s Wideline series.
As word of his passing spread throughout the industry, many have commented on his passion and devotion and how his influence will be heard for many years to come.
