VUE Jazzes Things Up In Berlin

From May 8th-12th ES -Event Services provided world-class audio for the 5th year in conjunction with VUE. 13 performances took place through an al-Class line array system. For the first time in the event’s 5 year history, the sound system was entirely digital with all audio routed to the SSL console and stage racks back to the VUE Audiotechnik main system through AES/EBU.

VUE Headlines Rye Music Festival, Beijing

VUE China partnered with Beijing-based production company, S.A.G., to deliver audio services for the second-annual RYE Music Festival in Beijing on May 25th and 26th. The Capital’s first outdoor music event of the season, and one of just a handful of sanctioned events given the PRC’s 70th Anniversary security measures, the festival was held in Changyang Music Park and boasted Scottish headline act The Jesus & Mary Chain and Taiwanese pop stars Jolin Tsai and Jay Chou.

MSI Drives VUE Line Array Through a 27-show Victory at the San Diego Fair

When Meeting Services, Inc. (MSI) won the bid to provide Audio services for the San Diego County Fair Grandstand Stage, Production Account Manager, Birch Caffee, immediately spotted an opportunity to take the VUE al-12 Acoustic Linearity Line Array for a spin. Running for a full five weeks from late May into July 4th weekend, the fair’s 27 shows featured a broad mix of artists and genres, including Dionne Warwick, Jake Owen, Toby Keith, Pitbull, and Smokey Robinson, to name just a few.

Bottlerock Napa 2017

VUE continues to grow al-12 supporters among FOH and System Engineers. For the third year in a row, Delicate Productions provided full production Bottlerock, the Napa, CA based Food, Wine and Music Festival. Delicate Productions deployed a VUE-based system on the Miner Family Winery Stage. The main FOH system consisted of two hybrid CST arrays, each of which consisted of 8x al-12’s with 2x al-8’s under hung for front coverage.

al-12’s for Vegas Spring Fling with One Republic

Las Vegas-based H.A.S. Productions provided audio services for the Mix 94.1 Mercedes in the Morning’s “Spring Fling” show at the Red Rock Hotel, Las Vegas. One Republic headlined the pool-side show, with Gavin DeGraw and Andy Grammer opening. A portion of the event proceeds benefit the Make a Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada.
For the main stage, H.A.S. deployed a of 16 VUE al-12 large-format line array systems, with al-8 line array systems for down-fill. The flying main FOH system also utilized 16 hs-28 ACM subwoofers in an arced endure directional array. Additional al-4 subcompact line array systems were deployed to cover the VIP area.
